Wideman Competition Piece:   Sergei Prokofiev’s Concerto No. 3 in C Major, Op. 26



Short Bio: Yevgeny began his piano studies at age 6 with Adela Umansky and later earned his bachelor of music degree summa cum laude from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel-Aviv University, where he studied with Arie Vardi. Yontov currently studies with Boris Berman at the Yale School of Music.

Wideman Competition Piece: Prokofiev, No 2 in G minor, Op 16




Short Bio:

Asiya began playing at age four. By 2011, Asiya had performed solo recitals and with various orchestras in Germany, Austria, Greece, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Kuwait, Syria, India, Great Britain and Australia.

Asiya has studied at the Moscow Conservatory and St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia, and the Frost School of Music, University of Miami, in Coral Gables, FL. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree under the guidance of world-renowned pianist Santiago Rodriguez.
