First Round -- Preliminaries

 

Your video audition as outlined in the "Further Instructions" contained in the Application Form online.

Second Round:  Semi-Finals 

Friday, December 1  
11:00 am - 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm

 

Saturday, December 2 

9:30 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm - 6:45 pm

 

At the conclusion of the second round, the Judges will select 5-8 contestants to perform their complete concerto in the third round. They will be accompanied by a second piano.

 

Semi-finals are free and open to the public.

Third Round:  Finals - Sunday, December 3
1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

 

Tickets are $10 at the door. Admission for students is free.

 

From the 5-8 participants in the Third Round, the judges will award the three medals, honorable mention and the other special awards given by the Competition

 

All Semi-Final and Final performances will take place a the Hurley School of Music, Centenary College of Louisiana.

  • Submit Application, $100 fee, required documents, photo, and performance web link no later than October 13, 2017

  • Round 1 - Preliminaries -- will be completed by the Audition Committee prior to your notification on October 27, 2017

  • Receive notification of acceptance by October 27, 2017 (and pay $100 accompanist fee if applicable)

  • Round 2 will be Dec 1 & 2, 2017  (40 contestants)

  • Round 3 - the Finals -- will be Dec 3, 2017 (5-8 contestants) ​
